November 26: There was a report in the local newspaper about the next years birthday celebration. Quoting from the paper" The Sri Satya Sai Central Trust will organise a world conference on "unity, purity and divinity"' as part of the Satya Saibaba's 80th birthday celebrations here next year". click here to read

November 25: We were just passing by the Stadium in Puttaparthi and noticed that there was a notice board for the Admissions for for Swami's schools.

1st Standard for Boys and Girls
XI stardard for Boys only

The timings for getting the forms are 11:00 am to 12:00 pm then 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The last date for getting the forms is March 1st 2005 so you have plenty of time. Please don't request us to send the forms because we cannot sorry.

November 24: Yesterday evening there was a musical program, the singer Parveena Sultan sang some bhajans. There were no other programs in the evening, most of the crowd were leaving Puttaparthi after days of celebration. Here is the report from a Local newspapers Report 1.

November 23: Happy Birthday to Swami from all the devotees around the world. The devotees have been lining the street since the monring around 2:30 am. And there still is continous flow of devotees even at 8:00 am. There were four marching bands from Swami's schools accompanying Swami into the Sai Kulwant Hall. Swami wore a White dress, which is special and worn on only special ocassions. Swami later cut the cakes the students and other devotees brought. Then Swami gave a discource. This evening the Andhra Pradesh Governer is also coming to Puttaparthi.

November 22: Today is the 23rd Convocation of Sai University. Today the students will be given their diplomas by Swami infront of the dignitaries who are here for the event. This years Guest was Shri Maharaj Krishna Rasgotra I.F.S (Retd) (Former foreign Secretary of Government of India). Swami presented the students with their gold medals, and Swami gave a lady students a gold chain also. Later Swami talked about how she is suffering from diseases but still managed to study well and get such excellent marks in her cource. Swami also blessed the girls father too. Then there was a Drama in mandir called "Karunalayam". The event lasted well in to the night, it only finished at around 7:30 pm. Here is the report from a Local newspapers, Report 1.

November 21: Yesterday evening there was drama Swami came early today at 2:30 pm so the programs were all finished by 4:30 pm, and swami presented those who performed with gold chain and ring. There are free medical camps going on here in Puttaparthi. Doctors from all over the world are coming and conducting medical camps here in Puttaparthi and surrounding villages.

November 20: Yesterday evening there were dance programes in the mandir, children did a spectacular dance program by standing on pots and balancing pots on their heads. It really was a great show. There was no speech by Swami like every year. More and more devotees are pouring in to Puttaparthi.

November 19: Today is Ladies Day. This morning there were speeches by ladies in mandir. Then there was a dance program by ladies. The aarathi was also done by the ladies. While Swami was arriving and leaving the sai kulwanth hall, he was accompanied by a ladies marching band. So everything was done by ladies today. There are tv's now all over mandir so the crowd can see the events very well. It only days to go before the big day.

November 19: After the Rathosavam last night the idols of Lord Krishna and Lord Rama, Laxman, Sita and Hanuman were returned to mandir. Which were taken in the morning for the procession on the chariot during the Rathosavam.

November 18: Today is Rathosavam. The decorated chariot was brought to the gopuram gate. Where Swami blessed it and it was returned back to its shelter.

November 17: Yesterday evening too there was program in mandir, the crowd is building every day. And almost everyday there is some program. Yesterday Swami finished the bhajans very quickly at 4:15 pm.

November 16: Yesterday evening there were programs in mandir for the celebration of Id. This was the first time when there were celebrations for Id in mandir, atleast those i knew of, the security was tight because few dignitaries were visiting Swami for darshan.

November 15: Yesterday evening the Akanda Bhajana finished. After the bhajans the prasadam was distributed to all the devotees.

November 14: As i am writing this the Akanda Bhajana are still going on. They will go on untill 6:00 pm today.

November 13: Today at 6.00 pm the Akanda Bhajana starts in puttaparthi. The Bhajan will go on all day long and until tommorow evening 6:00 pm. Many devotees around the world will also participate in this by doing bhajans in their sai centers. This is the only other day when the gate of mandir will be open all night long for devotees to come for the bhajans.

November 13: Today morning there were dance programs by the devotees from Gujarat. They presented Swami with a cake which Swami cut. Yesterday diwali was celebrated in Puttaparthi, there were no celebration inside mandir, but outside mandir the residents of puttaparthi had a loud and bright diwali, with a lot of crackers.

November 9: Yesterday evening there was a musical programe in mandir, three devotees performed the programe. After the programe Swami gave them some gifts. The festivals are coming near, its only days till "Akanda Bhajana" so get ready for it, with bhajans and good sleep in advance so you don't feel sleepy that day.

November 7: Yesterday evening there was drama inside mandir, students performed the drama about Sri Kala Hasthi (one of the big temples in India), about how it came into existance. And the story behind it.

November 1: Last few days we could not update the site because of the problem with the site and due to the problem with the internet here in puttaparthi.

Today morning Swami came outside mandir and we really had a very good darshan, Swami kept on looking at us it really was nice.

Today evening there was speech in mandir by a devotee, he talked about the experience of Mr.Sunil Gavaskar (former india cricket captain and celebrity), how gavaskar used to keep Swami photo in his pocket all the time. He once played two match and got pretty bad score but the next he made a 100, the others asked how he played so well. He said that he played that well because Swami was with him and so he was not afraid. Sunil gavaskars father and mother are also Swami's devotees so are his family. Once for a match when his leg was injured the coach came and asked him if he can play only and also said if he has confidence in himself and his ability of completing the match. So gavaskar heard that Swami devotees use vibhuthi blessed by Swami as medicine so he used the vibhuthi and applied it all over his leg and next morning he could walk and there were few steps near his room which he easily walked on which he could not do for the past few days. So he played the match and the team won. He was the star player of the Indian cricket team when he played for India. Once the west indies captain, indian captain and a player met swami for his blessings and both of them asked Swami for a win. But Swami smiled and blessed both of them. Then sunil gavaskar said there were two indian players and only one west indies so we will win. Indians won the match by the way.

Then there was another speech by another devotee in which he spoke about an experience a boy from Swami's college had. He was suffering from very bad stomach ache he could not even get up and he didn't want to wake his friends. so he slept there praying that if i was in home my mother and father would have taken care of me but now Swami you are my mother and father so please take care of me. Just moments after that at 11:30 a boy came in to the room. He has never seen this boy before. He tells him that he cannot get up so asks him if he can get some water, so the boy gets some water and helps him to drink the water and tells him to take rest now if you still have the pain in the morning we can go to the doctor. And then the boy leaves. The next morning when the boy gets up he has no pain. So this boy goes to thank the person who gave him drink last night and ask the warden if anyone came last night any one new. He says someone gave him a drink last night and he has not seen him before. But the warden says that the gates were closed so no one can come in. Only then does the boy realise the prayer he said last night and he starts crying in joy.
