May 24th 3:15 pm - Sai Gheeta, Swami's Elephant funeral in Puttaparthi

Swami came to Sai Gheeta's home and stayed there for nearly two hours as Sai Gheeta was lifted by 3 cranes and brought to her home where she was buried. All her belongings she use to wear for all the events were also buried with her. Swami watched all the proceeding and blessed her and offered her flowers. There were students doing bhajans and chanting Vedas, the road was filled with devotees eagerly waiting to get the last glimpse of Sai Gheeta.

May 22nd 8:15 pm - Sai Gheeta, Swami's Elephant passes away

This evening Swami's Elephant Sai Gheeta passed away infront of the planitarium where she came for a walk. Many devotees are flocking to the site to see Sai Gheeta for the last time. Sai Gheeta's huge presence at all the functions and events will be hugely missed, But mostly she will be missed as a member of their family by the devotees in Puttaparthi.

May 22nd 1:15 pm - Buddha Poornima Celebrations in Prasanthi Nilayam

Yesterday and today are being celebrated as Buddha Poornima in Prasanthi Nilayam. There are quite a few devotees from overseas for the events. There were cutural programs yesterday morning and evening in Sai Kulwant Hall. In the evening after the event Swami even came down and took pictures with the participants of the cutural programs. More events are expected today, this morning Swami didn't come for morning bhajans, there will be programs this evening in mandir as part of Buddha poornima celebrations.

May 18th 5:15 pm - Sathya Sai Baba is in Prasanthi Nilayam now

Today evening at 4:00 pm Swami arrived in Puttaparthi. Swami came from Kodaikanal after a 22 days visit. Swami was welcomed by the devotees in Puttaparthi who lined along the streets. After a feirce summer devotees in Puttaparthi were happy to see Swami's return to Puttaparthi.

May 7th 1:15 pm - Eswaramma Day celebrations in Kodaikanal

Yesterday there was food and clothes distribution in Kodaikanal as part of the Eswaramma Day celebrations in Sathya Sai Baba's presence. Swami blessed and gave clothes and food to a few devotees and rest of them were given by sevadals. There were quite a few devotees at the Sai Shruthi Ashram in Kodaikanal to participate in the event. May 6th 9:15 pm - Today is Eswaramma Day

So there will be bhajans in Samadhi in Puttaparthi and free food distribution in Samadhi. Since Swami is in Kodaikanal there will some sort free food distibution there too in Kodaikanal. We are not getting any information from Kodai kanal, hopefully few devotees will send us the events of today...
