March 31st: 7:30 am - Ugadi celebrations in Puttaparthi

Swami came for the morning darshan in a roof less car giving the devotees a good darshan. There were no programs in the morning. Swami did Gruha pravasham today into the new building opposite the poorna chandra auditorium. Ugadi Pachadi ( A Special dish made for this festival by mixing neem leaves and jaggery and mango which signify happiness, sadness which have to be accepted equally. ) was distributed to the devotees in small boxes. Then evening program began after Swami's arrival. Swami came around 4:00 pm and a program by the students began. The students read the horoscope for each birth sign for the coming year. After this program Swami gave a divine discourse in which Swami talked about Lord Krishna and Rama and about the festival Ugadi. After the event prasadam was distributed to the devotee, it was laddus this time around. There were quite a few devotees here for the Ugadi celebrations even though the weather is getting hotter every day.

March 30th: 6:30 pm - The Ugadi celebrations are going on in Parthi

Today the ugadi celebrations are going on in parthi. As i am updating this news Swami is giving a discourse on this occasion. Today also was the day for the gruhapravasham of the new house. Which is located infront of the current building in which Swami is staying. To put it more simple, its opposite to the poorna Chandra auditorium. We will bring you a update later in the day with all the details. so keep watching.

March 23rd: 9:30 pm - Swami gave good darshan today.

Today morning when bhajans were going on Swami sat on the veranda giving good darshan to devotee for a while. Then Swami distributed prasadam to the students. In the evening too Swami gave nice darshan by sitting for a while on the veranda.

March 22nd: 9:30 pm - We could not update due to technical problems.

We could not update the site because of some technical problems. So we are sorry that we didn't give you any updates for a long time. Swami is giving darshans regularly, since the exams for the students are coming up there are no big events. Just the occasional singing programs are happening.

March 6th: 7:30 pm - Swami is giving regular darshans in Puttaparthi.

Swami is giving regular darshans in puttaparthi, the weather in puttaparthi is fine there was rain few days back. But now its back to being hot. Since summer has just started the temperature is not that hot. But in the coming weeks it could go up. Now its 30 degree and it could go up. If you are coming in the next few weeks be ready for the Indian summer. Because Swami is giving cool darshans the weather does not matter.
