March 27:Today morning Swami came outside mandir and we all got a very good darshan, Swami returned after a while.

March 26:Yesterday evening too there were program as part of the holi celebrations. There were dance programs.

Today Holi is celebrated here in puttaparthi. There are quite a few devotees for this program here in puttaparthi. A program just finished in mandir, there were bhajans and songs and other cultural programs as part of the holi celebrations.

Yesterday evening there was a program by the students who finished their exams, it was a dance program.

March 23: Indian Cricket team player Mr.Laxman and Former cricketing great Mr.Sunil Gavaskar visited Puttaparthi for Swami's blessings and darshan. There is a match with pakistan on 24th in which Mr.Laxman will be playing. Hope he performs well with Swami's grace.

March 21: Yesterday eveing there was a muscial program in mandir, and a student also gave a speech. After the program Swami presented all the boys with pens for their exams which are about to start in a few days.

March 17: Yesterday evening there was a ceremony to congratulate the students from Swami's college who participated in an exam and came first. Swami presented one of the boys who came first with a golden bracelet, the boy also gave a small speech. Swami presented all the other boys with shawls and blessings. Then there was a discourse by Swami.

March 14: Green Parthi - Few Sai devotees from Puttaparthi have come up with an idea of planting plants all around puttaparthi and making puttaparthi hill tops green again. Those interested in the project can contact here, the project will start in June as soon as the summer is over. They are planning to plant 5000 plants this year. We will keep you posted about the project.

March 14: Yesterday evening there was a drama program by the students, they performed the Ramayana. After the program Swami took photos with the students.

March 10: Yesterday evening too Swami gave a discourse. And in the discourse Swami talked about a lady called "Karuna Subhaamma" who was like god mother to Swami and took care of Swami. Swami narrated an incident, she would make five kinds of breakfast each day for Swami because she doesn't know which one Swami will like and Swami use to test her by rejecting all the breakfast she brought, just to see if he could make her angry. Swami said that she never got angry and was always smiling. Swami talked about many such incidents. Most of the devotees are leaving Puttaparthi after the shivarathri festival. Puttaparthi is back to its calm self.

March 9: Yesterday evening too there was discourse by Swami again. Then bhajans began which continued all through the night and only ended in the morning. And after the morning bhajans prasadam was distributed to all the devotees. Ending the last festival of this year in puttaparthi. (this picture is last years lingodbavam)

March 8: Today is Shivarathri in Puttaparthi, the bhajans which start in the evening today will continue until tomorrow morning bhajan time. There is a huge crowd here to witness the shivarathri festival here in Puttaparthi. Today morning there were songs and bhajans sung by the students. Swami gave his discourse in the morning in which swami talked about the shivarathi festival etc. (this picture is last years lingodbavam)

March 7: The devotees are pouring in each day in hundreads and thousands, even thoug Swami said that there will be no materialization of lingam this year. The festival is tommorow and there will be bhajans all night long here in puttaparthi.

March 4: Yesterday evening there was a program in mandir, first devotees from ooty performed before Swami and dance program. After which three students of the Swami's college performed another dance program. Swami called one of the boys after the event and presented him with a gold chain.

March 3: For the past two to three days we have been getting letter from people about when Swami will leave puttaparthi. We assure you that if Swami leaves puttaparthi you will be the first person to know about it. Until then we have no information about Swami's departure. There are lot of rumors flying around about the date but can't be certain about any of them.
