July 26: Yesterday Swami went outside mandir in the evening. Not once but twice. Swami came back in the same direction two times. While going Swami went from inside. but while coming came from outside. So we saw Swami twice in the same direction.

Swami gave away machines and grinders to woman July 25: Yesterday morning Swami gave away, sewing machines to those who needed them and later gave clothes to the students and teachers.

July 23: Yesterday evening there was speech by two dignitaries. One of them spoke in tamil and was translated to english. Both spoke about love and how it will help you if you practice love towards everyone.

July 22: Guru poornima has finished most of the devotees are leaving puttaparthi after the celebrations. Some are staying back to have a nice darshan of Swami with less crowd. Yesterday in discourse Sai baba talked about the water project that are being done in the interior parts of Andhra pradesh etc.

Swami gave discourse for guru poornima July 21: Guru Poornima This day is celebrated as guru poornima in Puttaparthi. There are many devotees here in Puttaparthi for this occasion. Today morning there were programs. Four devotees gave speech and then our very divine Sri Sathya Sai Baba gave discourse.






The chitravathi river has started flowing due to rains. July 20: The last few days has seen some good rainfall here in puttaparthi due to this the Chitravathi river is flowing. It's a plesant surprise and a very good omen for Swami's 80th birthday celebrations. It been two to three years since the last time the chitravathi river flowed like this.





July 20: To celebrate the 80th birthday of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Mulund Samithi of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organsiation has begun a bhajan programme at 80 different houses everyday in and around Mulund. This event started on Ramnavami day in April and winding up on Guru Poornima. A mega bhajan programme has been scheduled on Thursday 21st July, starting from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Jain Mandir Hall, Neelam Nagar, Phase II, Mulund east. For information: 9821224113

Swami blessing those who took part in Ashadi Ekadash celebrations July 20: Yesterday there were programs as part of the Ashadi Ekadash celebrations here in puttaparthi. There were dance, drama and singing programs. The devotees from three state from the Northren part of india participated in the programs. July 18: Yesterday there was march by the devotees from Maharashtra, and they were doing a seva called Dindi Seva. Click here to see the pictures.

July 18: Today is "Ashada Akadashi" which means new year for the people in the north india. So devotees from Maharashtra and other states in north are performing a programs infront of Swami and celebrating this new year.

Swami visited outside mandir at 3:00 pm July 17: Yesterday Swami came outside of mandir at 3:00 pm and only returned at 5:00 pm. Since this was the bhajan time all the devotees lined along the road to get a glimpse of Swami. And when Sai baba returned to mandir, Swami gave good blessings to all the devotees.

July 16: Yesterday evening there was a muscial program by the students where they sang songs and bhajans about Ramayana.

July 12: For the last few days Swami has been visting outside regularly. There is a new cource being started in "Bussiness management and Accounts" in one of the Swami's universities.

Devotees from Cudapah in Andhra pradesh July 10: Yesterday devotees from Cadapah (in Andhra Pradesh) took a small rally singing bhajans. There were a few hundread of them here in puttaparthi for Swami's darshan. Since this is the 80th year of Swami Divine birth, you can see many more devotees from all over the world conducting programs like this here in Puttaparthi.

July 5: Yesterday evening there was a program by the devotees from USA. It was a nice program. Since this year is Swami's 80th birthday expect more and more events and programs by the devotees.

July 2:Free diabetic and cancer detection camp

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, West Mambalam is organising a free Diabetic and Cancer Detection Camp in association with SRM hospital, to celebrate the 80th Birth Anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on 3 July at Nightingale School, Veerasamy Street, West Mambalam, Chennai. The camp is from 9 am to 12 noon. Specialists from SRM hospital would conduct the camp and patients would be examined and medical advises provided to all those attending the camp.Those interested can come to the camp after a light break fast, a press release said.

July 1: Today evening at 5:10 pm Swami came outside mandir during bhajans but didn't go anywhere in particular. Just after going a little distance from mandir the car turned around near the bus station and came back. Lord works in mysterious ways. But i am glad we got a good darshan of Swami.

Sunil Gavaskar plans Cricket match in Kerala to raise funds for Sai Gramam

The foundation stone for the Sai Gramam, a multi-million project of the Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust, was laid yesterday at Thonnackal, near here, by former Indian cricket team captain Sunil Gavaskar. Gavaskar said he would convince the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to organise a cricket match in the state to mobilise funds for setting up the Sai Gramam, which will be the centre of the trust's philanthropic activities. Gavaskar, a devotee of Sri Satya Sai Baba, said BCCI Secretary S K Nair in consultation with his colleagues would find a suitable date for the match. The gramam would come up on a 50-acre plot in five years at an estimated Rs2.4bn.
