February 26th 9:30 pm - Drama by the devotees from Ooty in Prasanthi Nilayam

This evening in Sai Kulwant Hall there was a drama by the devotees from Ooty.

They performed a wonderful drama about Markandeya an adherent devotee of Lord Shiva.

After the event Swami presented the performers clothes and also blessed one of the performer with a golden chain. It was around 7:00 pm by the time the events ended for the evening.

February 24th 9:30 pm - Drama by the Students from Brindavan campus in Prasanthi Nilayam

This evening in Sai Kulwant Hall there was a drama by the Students from Brindavan campus.

After the drama Swami took pictures with the students and also blessed a student with a golden chain.

February 17th 7:30 pm - Long and wonderful bhajans in Prasanthi Nilayam today

This morning in Sai Kulwant Hall bhajans went on till 10:45 am. Giving all the devotees a long and wonderful bhajans. Students from Anantapur Campus are here in Puttaparthi for Sathya Sai Baba’s blessings as their final examinations are nearing.

This evening as the bhajans were going on Prasad was distributed to all the devotees in Sai Kulwant Hall. Which was a special surprise as there were no events happening.

February 13th 8:30 pm - Chinese New Year Celebrations in Prasanthi Nilayam

This evening in Sai Kulwant Hall saw a colorful celebration for Chinese New Year.

Sathya Sai Baba came for the Chinese New Year celebrations very early this evening. Swami came to Sai Kulwant Hall around 4:00 pm. Devotees dressed in Chinese lion costumes welcomed Swami into Sai Kulwant Hall.

There was a drama and a Chinese Lion dance performance this evening. After the program Swami came down from the veranda and took pictures with performers.

After these programs they also sang bhajans in their language. Prasadam was distributed to all the devotees as the bhajans were going on.

Events ended with aarathi at 5:55 pm.

February 12th 8:30 pm - Tibetan Monks Chantings this evening in Sai Kulwant Hall

Sai Kulwant Hall was full of red color with big red lanterns and all the pillars draped in beautiful red cloth. And there were lot of paper decorations hanging. Sai Kulwant Hall looked like a Chinese temple.

This evening in Sai Kulwant Hall in the Divine presence of Sathya Sai Baba the programs began. Swami blessed the cards the devotees brought.

Then Tibetan Monks chanted some wonderful chants. They chanted for World Peace, to protect human beings from natural disasters and for everyones Happiness and Prosperity.

They also chanted chants for Swami's good health and long life.

They ended the events asking Swami to bless Himself and all the other Gurus with Good Health and Long life.

An announcement was made that with Sathya Sai Baba’s Divine blessings tomorrow will be celebrated as Chinese New Year in Prasanthi Nilayam.

Prasadam was distributed to all the devotees in Sai Kulwant Hall.

February 12th 1:30 pm - Chinese New Year Decorations in Puttaparthi

The decorations for the Chinese New Year are already up in Puttaparthi. The main gate was decorated few days back. Many devotees are here for the Chinese New Year celebrations. The weather also has gotten a bit cooler in the last few days due to the showers the last few days.

February 12th 1:00 pm - Parthi Yatra in Puttaparthi by Adilabad Devotees

Yesterday morning there was a small rally by the devotees from Adilabad District. Children were dressed in nice costumes. They were singing bhajans and dancing it was very colorful. After two days of programs yesterday evening after bhajans they left Puttaparthi happily and blissfully.

February 10th 8:30 pm - Sathya Sai Baba says programs by Adilabad devotees were beautiful

After taking pictures with the performers Swami walked on to the veranda and then walked little bit more on the veranda and blessed all the devotees in Sai Kulwant Hall with both hands while standing. Which was a Divine sight to see.

This evening after the scintillating Drama performance by the devotees from Adilabad District, Swami gave a short discourse and said that the program was beautiful. And the performance of the actors was also wonderful. Swami also made specially mention of the boy who played the role of the King Krishna Devaraya. Swami said their performance came from the heart and was filled with love. Swami told the devotees of Adilabad that He was very happy with their programs. Swami said devotees should strive to develop the Adilabad District more. And ended the short discourse talking about the importance of bhajans and that they should never forget to do bhajans. Then Swami sang few lines of the bhajan “Hari Bhajana Bhina Suk Shanti Nahi”

After that Swami distributed clothes Personally to all the performers of the drama. After few more bhajans the events ended at 7:45 pm and Sathya Sai Baba left for Yajur Mandir (swami's home).

February 10th 8:30 pm - Drama by the devotees from Adilabad District

This evening Swami came to Sai Kulwant Hall at 5:45 pm.

After Swami reached the veranda programs by the Adilabad devotees began.

It was a wonderful drama, which was beautifully written and acted by the devotees. The drama starts in the Kingdom of King Krishna Devaraya, who once ruled the Andhra Pradesh region. The King is in his palace, talking with the revered poets of that era. And ask them how his kingdom is doing now, which was full of peace and joy in his era.

One of the poets responds saying that the kingdom is doing even better than, how it was in his era. King asks the poets how this was humanly possible at this day and age. Then the poet responds saying its not humanly possible, but its possible to the God who created these Humans. And that God is Sathya Sai Baba.

Then the king asks the poets to tell him more about Lord Sathya Sai Baba.

The poets tell the story of Puttaparthi and how it was a flourishing area in kings era. But was later punished by Gods and was turned into a snake infested area. And its now back to its glory days with the presence of Sathya Sai Baba.

All these were described in beautiful poetic Telugu.

Then there were some dances to the songs that were written by Swami like “Unnadaya Devudu Vunadaya”, “God is Present”.

Then poets talk about Swami’s teaching and also tell how in every temple devotees go to see God, but only in Prasanthi Nilayam Swami comes to see His devotees. The poets also said that they feel privileged because Swami has chosen their language as His mother tongue.

Almost all the sentences in the drama were ending to huge applause by the devotees in Sai Kulwant Hall. I wish more people knew Telugu well to really understand the wonderful meaning of this drama. It really was beautiful.

Then they dramatized a real incident that happened in Adilabad District. Where a Sai devotee passed away after an heart attack. His family of two girls and a boy and his wife wanted to do bhajans and ask Swami to give their Family member back. When other devotees in the village hear about it. They say that they too are devotees of Sathya Sai Baba, but this is madness not devotion. How can Swami bring back someone who is dead. But the family insists and finally they decide that they will do bhajans for 1 hour. All the devotees start the bhajans and with Swami’s Divine blessing the devotee who died comes back to life. Then the devotees who questioned their devotion apologies to the family and say true devotee never has doubt in his mind.

Then the King and the poets come back and talk about how wonderful it is to see all the people of his Kingdom being blessed by Sathya Sai Baba. King feels sad that he was not born in this era of Lord Sathya Sai Baba.

Swami called the boy who played the king and presented and blessed him with a Golden gift, all this as the drama was going on. Drama ended with a song about Swami and a boy playing Swami's role comes and blesses the King and the poets ending the drama.

After the drama all the performers sat in front of Swami. And the devotees from Adilabad brought a Joola in which Swami sat and blessed them and took photos with them.

February 9th 7:30 pm - Music program by devotees from Adilabad

This evening in Sai Kulwant Hall the devotees from Adilabad District in Andhra Pradesh performed a musical program of old bhajans and Classical Keertans.

Sathya Sai Baba sat on the veranda giving all devotees a nice darshan.

The program started with women from Adilabad singing few bhajans. After them a male singer spoke few words before he began his performance. He said how blessed all the devotees in Sai Kulwant Hall were to see Swami in his Divine Form where as he had no such ability because he was blind. He said even though he can’t see Swami, Swami’s eyes are on him. Then began wonderful classical keertans, like Swami Ra Ra Ma Inti Daka (Swami come to our home) and other nice keertans. He ended the performance with the bhajan Santhosham Aya Ne (We are Blissful). Prasadam was blessed by Swami and was distributed to all the devotees in Sai Kulwant Hall as the program was going on.

After the performance Swami called one of the performers and blessed him with a Golden Chain.

Events ended with Aarathi and Swami left for Yajur Mandir (swami's home)

Sometimes we forget how blessed we are to even have a darshan of Swami. Like that devotee said, may Swami's Divine grace continue to shower on him.

February 9th 12:30 pm - Chinese New Year will be celebrated in Prasanthi Nilayam

Chinese New Year will be celebrated on February 13th in Prasanthi Nilayam. Many devotees from that part of the world have started arriving in Puttaparthi for the celebrations.

Nearly 3000 devotees from Adilabad District in Andhra Pradesh are also here in Puttaparthi. Many of them are wearing pink scarf’s, which makes the Sai Kulwant Hall even more colorful during bhajans. There will be cultural programs by them in the next few days.

February 4th 6:45 pm - Swami gives nice darshan to all the devotees in Sai Kulwant Hall

This evening as the bhajans were going on Swami came for brief visit outside mandir. Swami returned back to mandir after a while as the bhajans were going on. Swami blessed all the devotees and students near the veranda and took letters from some of them.

Then Swami went on to the ladies side and blessed many devotees and gave nice darshan to all the devotees on the ladies side. Swami also blessed a devotee with a Gold Chain on the ladies side. Then Swami returned back to the veranda, soon after that the bhajans finished. At 6:00 pm Swami left for Yajur Mandiram (swami's home).
