December 28: I want to let all the devotees and their loved ones know that here in puttaparthi there is no problem due to the earth quake. We all should pray for the people who lost their loved one and those who are suffering due to this. And may the people who passed away rest in peace with Swami grace and blessings.

December 27: Yesterday evening Swami came outside mandir and returned only after the bhajans so devotees lined up the streets waiting and they got darshan while Swami returned later.

December 26: For this Christmas celebrations devotees from 21 countries were present here in Puttaparthi. In the evening Swami gave discourse to a mandir full with devotees as part of the Christmas celebrations. Swami spoke about "Prayer in any form is as important in the life of human being as drinking water. Prayers should not be for materialistic desires, but for Spiritual purposes". Swami too received a present for christmas from a student from Japan who was an alumni of Sathya Sai Institute presented Swami with an ultra modern Toyota car on this occasion. The car has a special feature, which allows Swami to come out of the car without setting foot on the floor.

December 25: Happy Christmas to you All

Today morning the mandir was full with devotees, for the Christmas celebrations. Then Swami came around 7:30 am and the students began songs. The students performed some musical programs. There were quite a few Santa's in mandir today, then the bhajans started after which while going back to his room Swami cut few cakes which the devotees brought. Then prasadam was distributed to the devotees. Today evening at 4.45 pm there will a discourse by Swami.

December 25: Yesterday evening there were some programs by the devotees from oversees. They performed some musical programs and later sang a few bhajans after which the regular bhajans started. Then prasadam was distributed to the devotees. The mandir is beautifully decorated and looks really colorful, gift packets hanging all over the place.

December 23: Yesterday evening two students spoke, and one of them talked about some of the miracles devotees experienced. Like once when a devotee was rushing to catch his plane but still was a bit far from the air port, he got a taxi which got him in time for the flight, and once he reached Puttaparthi Swami asked him how much did he pay for the taxi, that's when the devotee realizes he didn't pay for the taxi in his hurry. Then Swami said that this taxi driver does not take money, only helps there were many such incidents mentioned.

December 21: Yesterday evening there two speeches in mandir. One was by Mr.Anil Kumar and the other was by a devotee he talked about how Swami was helping all the communities with schools, hospital and water etc. And its our duty to use them well etc

December 21: Yesterday I heard that this years choir is going to be 550 people strong. Compare that too last year which was around 450 people. So this year the choir is going to be big and special. I also heard that they are practicing nearly five hours every day for the program on Christmas day.

December 19: Yesterday devotees from Karnataka came in nearly 25 buses. They sang bhajans in the evening bhajans, there was a musical program by them. For the last few months this has become kind of a trend, devotees coming in a big group. Last month or so we have seen devotees from parts of Andhra Pradesh come like this.

December 19: Yesterday in the newspaper "Hindu" there was a report about Sathya Sai Trust helping some villages in Andhra Pradesh with the water project by providing nearly 30 crores for construction of the project.

December 15: Yesterday evening there was "Kavi Sammalanam" or gathering of poets. They read some poems and it was really nice. After which the bhajans started.

December 12: Today Morning there were speeches by the devotees. Nearly three devotees spoke. Then the bhajans started. Evening too the darshan was early and after which prasadam was distributed. Then Swami made a surprising visit outside and the picture that you are seeing on the right side was take when Swami was going back to mandir, most people were caught off guard that's why you see less people lining the street for Swami's darshan. I was the luck one.

December 10: The Bala vikas from Singapore performed a drama yesterday. They presented the drama titled "Sri Adi Sankaracharya". The boys performed the drama very well with their colorful costumes etc. We have the pamphlet of the drama please go to the events sections and see the pamphlet.

December 9: Today morning too Swami came outside mandir, and was going to the super specialty hospital for the opening of the Nurse complex. Before only doctors had a place to stay near the hospital, but now with these buildings nurses too have a place to stay near the Super specialty hospital.

December 6: Today morning Swami made a surprise visit outside mandir so we could not get the camera in time to take the picture, it was so sudden. But it was a very good darshan, Swami sat in the front seat beside the driver. This was after the morning darshan which was at 8:45 am.

December 6: Did you know that you could listen to radio sai, online. This is the offcial radio station of Sathya sai baba. Here is how you can do this go to www.radiosai.org or just open the windows media player which should be installed on all the computers that run windows. Then click "open url" and then paste this url without the commas "http://stream.radiosai.net:8000" there and click okay with in no time you should start hearing radio sai.

December 5: On 2nd December, the cheif minister of Maharashtra was here in puttaparthi, we missed that news only knew when i read one of the local news papers. The climate here in puttaparthi is getting very cold. It considerably colder than last year. So that shoul be good news for all our oversees devotees no more heat problems.

December 2: I don't know how many of you are already seeing the program about our beloved Sathya Sai baba of Puttaparthi on Sanskar channel, it's a great program.
