August 31st: 6:30 pm - Students end their Ganesh Chaturthi in Puttaparthi.

Student of Sathya Sai Baba's School and Colleges brought their Ganesh idols this evening at 3:30 pm. They were quite colorful and different, there were more than 10 Ganesh idols. They came to mandir for Swami's blessings. Once they were in mandir Swami came from the Yajur Mandiram (swami's home) and looked at all the Ganesh idols that were brought by the students and staff of Swami college, hospital and airport. After receiving the blessings of Swami the Ganesh idols were taken away for immersion. Thus ending the Ganesh Chaturthi in Puttaparthi.

August 31st: 12:30 pm - Last we predict events in Puttaparthi.

We said that Ganesh idols by the students will be brought this morning at 10:00 am but they didn't so this is the last time we predict the events in Puttaparthi in advance. They say they will come oh i sorry i forgot no more predictions about the events.

August 30th: 6:30 pm - Final Day of Ganesh Chaturthi in Puttaparthi.

Ganesh Chaturthi ended in Puttaparthi today. There was a big procession of Ganesh Idols by the residents of Puttaparthi. There were quite a few of them, nearly 15 idols. All of them were taken to be immersed in water, devotees accompanied them with bhajans and dances while the drums played in the background. The whole event lasted for three hours or so. It really was fun seeing so many Ganesh idols, and also seeing devotees happily enjoying themselves throwing colors on each other etc. There were fire crackers too. Some of the overseas devotees too took part in the event by throwing colors on each other.

The Ganesh Idols done by the students were not brought today, they are suppose to be brought to mandir for Sathya Sai Baba's blessing tomorrow morning around 10:00 am. We will get you more pictures of that event too.

August 30th: 12:30 pm - Final Day of Ganesh Chaturthi in Puttaparthi.

Today you get to participate in the finale of Ganesh Chaturthi by immersing the idol of Lord Ganesha in water. Before you immerse tell the lord all your wishes and pray to him.

And also watch out for the Web Cam which will be updated every 30 seconds for three to four hours this evening as the procession takes place here in Puttaparthi.

August 29th: 7:00 pm - Sathya Sai Baba visited outside mandir today too.

Sathya Sai Baba came for a visit this afternoon at 3:30 pm. Swami is making visits to oversea the construction of Indoor Stadium which is being built near gokulam in Puttaparthi. We are getting quite nice darshan for the last three days in a row.

August 28th: 8:00 pm - Ganesh Chaturthi in Putaparthi

There are quite a few Ganesh Idols and Shires which are built especially for this Ganesh Chaturth in Puttaparthi. We have some pictures of it. We will be putting more pictures on the last day of the immersion. We will also be doing live webcam for atleat three to four hours as the procession takes place that day in Puttaparthi. You will get to watch the Ganesh idols of residents in Puttaparthi and also the Ganesh idols made by students of Sri Sathya Sai Hihger learning.

August 28th: 7:00 pm - Sathya Sai Baba came for a visit today also.

Sathya Sai Baba came for a visit this afternoon at 2:45 pm. It was raining when Swami came outside mandir still there were devotees waiting to have divines darshan. Swami returned back to mandir at around 3:05 pm. The weather is kind of nice today after days of humidity today the rain brought some much needed cooling.

August 27th: 12:30 pm - It's Ganesh Chaturthi in Puttaparthi today.

This morning there was a bhajan program in Puttaparthi as part of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. This event comes to life in puttaparthi on the last day when Lord Ganesh idols are immersed into water ending the event. The students and residents of Puttaparthi carry their idols and dance and sing and celebrate on the last day. We will bring you pictures and if possible video of that day.

August 26th: 4:00 pm - Sathya Sai Baba came for a second visit and we have a video.

Sathya Sai Baba came for a visit again this afternoon at 3:05 pm. We have a video, I wish we had a better video to show you. Swami looked right at the camera. Which was a wonderful feeling. It was very sunny so we couldn't get a better video it looks very dark. I am really sorry. Swami returned back to mandir around 3:25 pm.

August 26th: 11:00 am - Sai Baba came for a visit this morning, tomorrow is Ganesh Chaturthi.

This morning Swami came for a visit outside mandir but we couldn't get a video of it. Swami returned back to mandir at around 8:55 am. Soon after that the bhajans began. Tomorrow is Ganesh Chaturthi in Puttaparthi. So the preparations outside mandir are going very well. This festival is celebrated in a big way outside mandir by the locals of Puttaparthi. In mandir this festivals only come into life after three days when the Ganesh idols made by the Swami's college students are brought into mandir for Swami's blessings before the nimarjanam (immersion into water).

August 25th: 11:00 am - Sai Baba 'appears' on wall in Surat, India.

Sai Baba appears on a building wall here on Thursday night, drawing over 8000 people by midnight. The eight storey residential building otherwise does not have any residents as the structure has been condemned for demolition by municipal authorities post floods.

We also received a email from a devotee in U.K. who's name is shiv mair. He reported that "Last night lots of people claimed to see sai baba in the moon blessing in uk but i could not see him in the moon but my brother next to me saw Sai Baba people now are getting ready to do arti to the moon, girls and women are now arranging mendi on there hands to celebrate this happiness".

August 24th: 10:30 am - Sathya Sai Baba helps A '60s Hit Maker Conquers His Demons.

P.F. Sloan a 60s hit maker says Swami cured him of his illness. He said now he is back on track on his career after a visit to Sai Baba's ashram in india.

August 23rd: 11:15 am - Swami came for a visit outside mandir this morning .

This Morning at around 8:45 am Swami came for a visit outside mandir. While going Swami went from inside mandir and while on the way Swami's car stopped for like few minutes near the ladies entrance to the bhajan hall which is near the Ganesh temple. I have never seen Swami's car stop like that while on the way to some place, so even after all these years there are still something's that we see for the first time in Puttaparthi. Swami's car then want outside mandir for a visit and after 15 minutes Swami returned back to mandir at 9:05 am. Soon after that the morning bhajans began.

August 21st: 11:00 am - Next Event is only a week away and its Ganesh Chaturthi.

Puttaparthi is back to normal after the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam. The decorations at the gate have been taken down last night. There are not many devotees around. Many of them have left Puttaparthi overnight. It kind of sad to see any event in Puttaparthi to come to end. But that is also best thing about Puttaparthi, the next festival is always not that far away. Then next festival is exactly a week away, the festival is Ganesh Chaturthi which is on august 27th. So get ready for that.

August 21st: 12:00 am - Pictures of the finale of Athi Rudra Mahayagnam.

One of the things we forgot to mention yesterday was that there were some vip's here for the event. We were not sure who they were after seeing pictures we realized that the One of the VIPs was Mr.Deva Gowda Former Prime Minister of India. He was here for Sathya Sai Baba's blessings and to attend the finale of the event. Mr.Deva Gowda is from Karnataka and so are the 122 purohits who performed the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam and the man who organised the event Mr.Vinay Kumar.

August 20th: 9:00 am - End of Athi Rudra Mahayagna in Puttaparthi.

This evening there were no program. But Swami gave interview to all those 122 Purohits who conducted the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam for the last 11 days. Swami didn't come out of the bhajan hall. The bhajans started and after bhajans at around 5:35 pm Swami left Sai Kulwant Hall ending the programs for the day and thus ending the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam in Puttaparthi. Many devotees who were here for the event are either leaving Puttaparthi or getting to go to sleep after waking up so early this morning.

The lines for the events started at 1:00 am in the morning by the time I went out to see it was 2:00 am and the token lines for men were already full. You know the place next to vinayaka where men sit in lines for darshan that place. The main gate was open at 1:30 am to allow devotees to come in. The Sai Kulwant Hall is full even outside its full Swami is blessings all the things and passing them onto the purohits who are performing the abhishakam of the Lingam. The yagnam fire is burning so bright and high... More detailed report later..

The yagnam began exactly at 4:00 am in the morning. Swami arrived at the Sai Kulwant Hall at around 7:15 am. Swami sat on the veranda for a while watching the proceedings of the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam, after a while Swami went back inside the bhajan hall. Swami came back at around 8:45 am and then Swami started blessing the things to be put in the yagnam. Then swami blessed some milk which was used for abhishakam of the Lingam. Then aarathi of the lingam was taken and the aarathi was shown to all the devotees. The yagnam fire was burning with all rage. Then the bhajans began and the event finished with Swami leaving the Sai Kulwant Hall while the music was being played by the ladies with musical instruments. Prasadam was distributed later. Then there was an announcement that the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam will be conducted in Chennai in January. Evening programs begin at 4:00 pm this evening.

August 14th: 6:15 pm - More surprises in Athi Rudra Mahayagnam online.

If you have been doing the yagnam sincerely you could see some surprises. Now improved and looks more like the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam in Puttaparthi.

August 19th: 7:15 pm - End Day Ten of Athi Rudra Mahayagnam in Puttaparthi.

This evening the Athi Rudra Mahayagam went on Swami came into the Sai Kulwant Hall at 3:15 pm. There were speeches by two devotees. One of them spoke about importance of this yagnam etc. Then the other speaker who I am guessing is Vinay Kumar the man Swami credited of doing this Athi Rudra Mahayagnam single handed, talked about how its not him but Bagawan Sathya Sai Baba was the one who was doing it. He said that Swami choose the lingam and where to put it and how it should be done etc. So its Swami who is doing everything. Then Swami gave a discourse and talked about how Swami is happy if his devotees are happy. Then there was a musical program with tabla and flute etc and songs After that the program ended. There were no bhajans. Prasadam was distributed its mysore pak. The rain is drizzling in Puttaparthi now. Some of the purohits were presented with clothes and other things. Tomorrow is the finale. There was an announcement by Mr.Anil Kumar that tomorrow the event will start at 4:00 am in the morning. And Swami will be doing the abhishakem himself. That will be sight to see. Try to get a place for that. I think the lines for tomorrow will start from 12:00 pm we will keep you updated.

August 18th: 12:10 pm - End Day Nine of Athi Rudra Mahayagnam in Puttaparthi.

The evening programs started at around 2:30 pm. Swami gave a discourse and in which Swami said that Swami will take care of all the devotee and their needs. Then there was Vedic chanting by four overseas boys who are studying in Swami's college. A well know telugu film actress Anjali Devi also gave a speech talking about her experiences with Swami. There were no bhajans this evening.

Today is the Ninth day of the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam in Puttaparthi. This morning the programs went on as usual. Swami presented a gold chain to the head purohit. The morning programs ended at around 9:45 am. Prasadam was also distributed. The evening programs are about to start at 2:30 pm.

August 17th: 10:40 am - End of Day Eight which turned Bright and Sunny to cloudy day.

Why did I write bright and sunny day in the headline. It rained today and that too for quite a while and now its cloudy. The last two days it was cloudy and it didn't rain. Today it was bright and it rained. This evening the programs started at around 2:45 pm. There was no discourse by Swami just a musical program by the students. Swami presented the purohits who were doing the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam with some gift they were in packets so couldn't tell what they were. The musical program ended the event so no bhajans either. Jilabe was the prasadam today.

It's a bright and sunny day in Puttaparthi after two cloudy days. This morning the programs started as usual the yagnam started at 5:30 am. Sathya Sai Baba arrived little later. Then there was a program by small boy who is now regularly giving programs in the morning he sang songs beautifully today too. After that at 9:35 am Aarathi started ending the morning programs. Today's prasadams were given in special plastic packets that had Swami's pictures and special quotes written on them. Many devotees were especially happy after receiving one and reading them. The one we received said "Water flows from a Higher level to lower. God's grace too flows down to those who are bent with humility". Isn't this wonderful now not only do you get a prasadam but also a message.

August 16th: 8:00 pm - Sathya Sai Baba materialized a Lingam During discourse today.

Today's evening program started as usual. Sathya Sai Baba arrived at around 3:30 pm. Three devotees gave speeches. After that Swami gave a discourse the seventh one and in between the discourse Swami materialized a Lingam from Swami's Hand. And gave it to the Head purohit of the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam. In the discourse Swami talked about the free services Swami's organization was doing and how much the villagers were happy when they got help through the free services etc. After the discourse there was bhajans. Prasadam was distributed later.

August 16th: 11:00 am - Events of Day Seven and Krishna Janmashtami Festival.

Today is Krishna Janmashtami in Puttaparthi. For those who don't know what Krishna Janmashtami is, its the birthday of Lord Krishna. So Swami's elephant Sai Gheeta and other animals like cow and a deer were brought to mandir with decorations etc. Swami blessed them and gave them fruits. And they left mandir soon after that. Swami came to Sai kulwant hall at around 7:55 am and Swami gave the animals blessing which is usual done for Krishna Janmashtami. The yagnam was going on. After that many students dressed in the costumes of Lord Krishan came and they were given prasadam. Then at 9:50 am Swami left the Sai Kulwant Hall. Ladoos were given as prasadam.

August 15th: 10:30 am - Events of Day Six, Its a cloudy Day Six. Filled with programs.

Tomorrow is Krishna Janmashtami in Puttaparthi it will be interesting to see how that event will be celebrated while the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam is going on. Today Sai Kulwant Hall was full inside and out both ladies and gents side. And there are five more days to go. So it will only get more crowded.

This evening the yagnam started at 2:00 pm Swami arrived at 2:55 pm to Sai Kulwant Hall. After the yagnam stopped a devotee gave a speech. Then Swami gave a discourse today too that's the sixth one in row. Swami talked about Swami's health. Swami asked what was Swami age, its 81st year, Swami asked if Swami looks like a 81 year old. Swami said that Swami's health is fine and Swami never had a cold or headache etc. Swami said that Swami fell when a boy came in his way while walking. And that Swami leg is perfectly fine now and Swami can walk freely. It's only because of the doctors request that, Swami is using help. Swami also talked about the Mahabharat. After the discourse there was program with musical instrument. After their scintillating performance Swami presented them with clothes. Then there was a dance program by the students in the end. It was 6:40 pm by the time Swami left the Sai Kulwant Hall. No prasadam today by the way.

Today morning the programs started at 5:30 am Swami arrived at around 7:20 am. After the yagnam a small boy sang bhajans and there was also a muscial preformance for a while (Nadaswaram Style). And the program just ended now at 10:00 am.

August 14th: 7:15 am - Events of Day Five.

This evening the yagnam started at 2:00 pm and Sai Baba came to the Sai Kulwant Hall at 2:50 pm. The yagnam continued until the speech which was given by a devotee, after the speech Swami asked the speaker to come and sit beside Swami but he couldn't sit on the ground because he was a heavily built so Swami asked sevadals to bring a chair and put it beside him and asked the speaker to sit in it, Then Swami gave a discourse in which Swami talked about Lord Rama (Did you know this the last time the Athi Rudra Mahayagnam was done it was done by Lord Rama.). Swami said that we all should be like Lord Rama always speak truth and even when we are in worried or trouble we should accept them happily. Swami also said "Be good, Do Good See Good". After the discourse there were bhajans by a group of devotees. After the aarathi Swami left the Sai Kulwant hall at around 5:55 pm. Prasadam was distributed, it was badusha.

Did anyone notice this thing. If you have been reading the last bhajan details we been putting everyday, you would have see that all the last bhajans in puttaparthi these recent days have been of Lord Shiva.

Today's morning program began as usual. After the yagnam a small boy sung songs about our Swami. If you have been reading for the last few days you will remember about the boy to whom Swami gave a chain after he sang songs its the same boy. Then there was a muscial performance for a while and Swami left the Sai Kulwant Hall at 9:45 am ending the morning programs.

August 13th: 8:00 pm - Events of Day Four & Sathya Sai Baba's surprise visit outside mandir.

Today's evening program started with a surprise visit by Swami outside mandir. Then at 3:00 pm Swami came to the Sai Kulwant Hall. The Yagnam was going on. After the yagnam two devotees gave speeches. In the second speech the speaker narrated about some of the miracles he experienced. The first one he told was about a lady who is from Madras (Chennai) who went for a medical scan and found that she had a tumor. After hearing the news she decided to come to Puttaparthi for a few days. She came to bhajans every day and after a few days she went back to Madras (Chennai) for treatment. But when the doctors did a scan to start the treatment they were astonished to find that she had no trace of tumor. In the second story a reputed doctor's wife was diagnosed with cancer and the doctor knew the speaker and asked him if he could send some vibhuti which would be helpful when she goes overseas for treatment. But to the doctors astonishment as soon as his wife started taking vibhuti she was cured of cancer. Some of the wonderful ways our Divine Lord Sathya Sai Baba helps his devotees. Swami after the discourse presented the speaker with a ring. Then Swami gave a discourse, its the fourth one in row. In this discourse Swami talked about not to waste "FOOD, MONEY, and TIME" Swami also talked about the students and during the speech Swami invited two students who study in Swami college but are from overseas. And asked them to recite vedas. Both of them did wonderfully and Swami presented both of them with gold chains. Swami ended the discourse by calling on the students from the musical college to perform some songs. The event ended after the performance from the Music college students. Swami left Sai Kulwant Hall at 6:15 pm and prasadam was distributed. It rained for a while after the event.

This was an unusual visit because Sai baba came while the yagnam was going on, which no one expected. Then Sai baba came through the main gate which is very rare i can only remember twice or thrice this happened. There were quite a few devotees waiting. It was quite confusing too because no one knew which way Swami might go while returning. Swami returned back to mandir through the main gate. Giving all those later comers a good darshan up close.

August 12th: 7:30 pm - Day Three of the yagnam ends with Sai Baba's thrid discourse.

In the evening program today the yagnam started at 2:20 pm and Swami arrived at 3:30 pm. Two devotees gave speeches and one of them was director for Vedic institute in Karnataka. Then Swami gave a discourse in which Swami talked about the relationship between mother and son and how now a days the love between them seems to be decreasing day by day. Swami also narrated a story on the same topic. Then the bhajans began ending with the above mentioned bhajan. By the way apples were the prasadam this evening, don't think I am obsessed about eating or anything I thought you might be interested to know that.

I got some more thing to tell you, all the students from Swami's colleges are coming to Puttaparthi for the event, I saw buses of Anantapur girls just come and they are expected to stay up to the end of the event. I am seeing many devotees leaving Puttaparthi but twice as many are also coming since the event is 11 days long some are planning to catch either the start or the end of the event. So devotees who were here for the event are leaving and the people who want to catch the end are arriving. But it looks more crowded today than Day 1. So you still have to go early to get a good seat inside mandir.

August 11th: 7:30 pm - Glory days are back Sai Baba gives another discourse.

Today evening the program began at 2:35 pm with the yagnam. Swami came at 4:20 pm and sat on the veranda and watched the yagnam being performed. Then a devotee gave speech and talked of "Dakshana Murthi" (another form of Lord Shiva), then Sai Baba gave the discourse for the third day in row and Swami also talked about "Dakshana Murthi" (another form of Lord Shiva). Swami said that Dakshana Murthi is everywhere in you and in me in your and eyes and in mine etc, Then there was a musical programs where devotees sang bhajans and one of them goes like this "Deva oh Sai Deva". It was really nice. Swami left the Sai Kulwant Hall at around 7:00 pm ending the proceedings for the day. One thing I forgot to mention is how beautiful the decorations were, there are coconut leaf decorations everywhere and when all the lights were on in the Sai Kulwant Hall it is a sight to see. There are nine more days of this wonderful event to go...

August 10th: 7:00 pm - Sathya Sai Baba gave another discourse toady, we are back to glory days.

Today's programs started at 3:00 pm, the purohit started the archana to Lord shiva. Then at 3:20 Swami made his divine entrance into the Sai Kulwant Hall. Swami sat on the veranda watching the yagnam. Then a small boy sang bhajans and after his performance Sathya Sai Baba presented him with a golden ring. There was another musical performance by a boy who played the musical instrument flute accompanying it was tabala. Then after the performance Swami gave a discourse for the second day in row. In the discourse Swami talked about how devotees should respect elders and always treat the guest who come to their house well. Swami also said that your heart should be pure and only then will you be able think purely and act purely. love ever hurt never. After the discourse the bhajans began. The last bhajan for today was just look above the page. After the bhajans Swami left for his room at 6:15 pm. Ending the events of the first day. Prasadam was also distributed and the sweets today taste really good.

August 10th: 10:30 am - Exclusive picture of Shiva Lingam installed for Athi Rudra Mahayagnam.

The photo you see is the Idol of Lord Shiva installed in Puttaparthi for the Athi Rudra Yagnam. It is all made of Silver, yesterday archana was done to the lingam to start of the events. Today morning the program began at 5:30 am. With Sathya Sai Baba's blessings the yagnam began. All the 11 yagna gundam were lit and the yagnam started with the purohits reciting the mantram. The yagnam will continue upto 12:00 pm this afternoon. Swami left the bhajan hall at around 9:00 am, now the yagnam is continuing but the mikes have been switched off. So you can only hear the mantrams if you are inside the Sai Kulwant Hall. 10 more days of this wornderful yagnam to continue.

Today they peformed Archana to Lord Shiva in Lingam form which was installed today for the event. There are 122 Purohits who will perform the rituals for the next 11 days. 11 People will perform in 11 groups and one head purohit will look after all the others. Today only one Yagna Gundam (Pooja place) was used. Tomorrow the program begins at 5:30 am in morning and that's when the Yagnam will begin. Prasadam was also distributed after the event. It went on up to 7:00 pm.

August 9th: 5:15 pm - Athi Rudra Mahayagnam begans in Puttaparthi with Sai Baba's discourse.

The Athi Rudra Mahayagnam has began in Puttaparthi. As part of the opening ceremony Sathya Sai Baba just gave a discourse. In which Swami talked about a student of Swami called Vinay Kumar who is an official in Karnataka Government who is conducting the whole event even when other offered to help, he insisted and is doing it alone and all by himself. Swami also talked about the free service that are being done to help the needy ones. Swami also talked about the Lord Shiva. Swami also asked the devotee not to discriminate on the belief of others and asked all to learn the mantras which are for the whole world and not just for India.

August 9th: 10:45 am - The Athi Rudra Mahayagnam is only hours away.



Today at 2:30 pm will start with the blessing of our Swami. The yagnam is for the lord Shiva you can see that from the decoration made on the main gate. So from today for the next 11 days Puttaparthi will be filled with mantram chantings. The event is special because its 11 Yagna Gundams (fire pooja place) with each one having 11 Purohits for 11 days.

August 8th: 5:45 pm - Athi Rudra Maha Yagnam in Puttaparthi tomorrow at 2:30 pm.

Just moments ago an annoncement was made in mandir after the evening bhajans by Mr.Anil Kumar that the Athi Rudra Maha Yagnam will begin tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 pm in Divine presence of Sathya Sai Baba. They are also putting an hoarding on the main gate about the event.

August 8th: 10:15 am - Construction is in full swing at indoor stadium.

The work is in full swing as you can see from the picture. They are planning to complete it by november atleast that's what we are hearing. The yagnam preparations are also going well, tomorrow is the day. There are many Purohits already here to perform the yagnam. We too are planning a virtual yagam where you can perform yagnam online like you can already do Virtual Pooja. Hoping we can get it ready in time and Hoping we will be able to get you the coverage of Athi Rudra Maha Yagnam in Puttaparthi.

August 5th: 10:30 am - Sikkim's Cheif Minister just left Puttaparthi.

Yesterday evening some VIPs came to puttaparthi, people are saying that it's Sikkim's Chief Minister. There were no program in the evening, but still prasadam was distributed.

Today morning Swami came for a visit at 8:15 am and went back to mandir at around 8:45 am. And the morning bhajans began soon after that. Sorry no pictures this time.

August 4th: 10:45 am - Details about Vara Lakshmi Vratham in Puttaparthi.



Today was "Vara Lakshmi Vratham" in Puttaparthi. Devotee were standing in line from as early as 5:00 am. All the ladies who were participating in the pooja dressed in Special Sari that were given to them for this occasion. There were nearly 2000 lady devotee who participated in the event. The numbers they could go even higher we assume its more than 2000. They all sat inside the Sai Kulwant Hall waiting for Swami to come. Sai Baba came around 7:30 am and the pooja began. All the lady devotee 2000 of them were given plate full of pooja material which they used to start the pooja. Swami went around to all the devotees in his chair blessing them. Swami went to the interview room as the pooja was continuing, and the pooja ended after the explanation by the Poojari about the importance of the Vratham etc. There were no bhajans because of this pooja, all the 2000 lady devotees were also given free food.

August 3rd: 7:00 pm - Vara Lakshmi Vratham in Puttaparthi Tomorrow.

Tomorrow there is going to be a pooja in Puttaparthi called Vara Lakshmi Vratham. It's a pooja done to Goddess Lakshmi which is believed to bring prosperity and well being. This came as a surprise because we had no idea of this event in Puttaparthi none of the devotees even mentioned it to us. It is a pleasant surprise, even we some times don't know what programs are coming up. As i am writing this Banana leaves are being tied to the Main gate of mandir which is a sure way to tell that there will be some event tomorrow. We will keep you posted about this event.
