about Sprituality. And a girl called PRIYA PANNEERSELBAM talks about
our very own Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi. What she tell is
really a great message to all the sai devotees. Here are the extracts
from the article
"PRIYA PANNEERSELBAM
Hindu and devotee of Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Sophomore, Lynbrook High School, San Jose
Priya Panneerselbam's family has practiced Hinduism for generations,
but when she was about 3 years old, her family began to follow the
philosophy of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, a teacher who resides in India.
Panneerselbam considers herself both a Hindu and a devotee of Sri
Sathya Sai Baba.
``He's here to make a Hindu a better Hindu, a Christian a better
Christian, and a Buddhist a better Buddhist,'' Panneerselbam said.
His teachings stress love toward every entity. According to
Panneerselbam, devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba show their devotion
through service to others, chanting and singing, and education. The
teachings have helped Panneerselbam through personal hardships and
have helped her family come together.
``Without faith, I'd have no strength to do anything,'' she said."
