August 22nd 9:30 am - Dinamalar newspaper carried swamy's sayings today
Venue - Chennai
Timings - August
Today (August 21, 2008) the Tamil daily Dinamalar carried the sayings of Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The verbatim translation is reproduced for our readers.
*Women could have their education like the men on the earth. They can also earn more than men. Women could enjoy full liberation, but those liberations must be checked often and must be kept under control. Otherewise, the very same uncontrolled liberation would take them to
troubles.
* When women engage themselves in the services of public they should not forget the righteousness known as Athma Dharma. Education should give them moral, and the capacity to think and divide the good and bad. In olden days there were many learned women. Like them the present-day women should emulate them in the path of keeping them from the wrong paths.
* The women should not forget the whole good life of anyone purely depended upon the good character. There were many women like Anusuya, Savithri, Nalayani who were intellectuals and never gave up their chastity and had set examples in their lives for the future women generations.
* Though women has had the knowledge about the present-day scientific advancement they should possess the qualities and knowledge about God and theism. When they look at anything or anyone they should see them with pristine pure heart and visions. The present-day women should strive to stick to the principles of this pristine pure heart and vision.

She has stated that how she and her husband had lost their tickets in a bus leaving for Chennai from Puttaparthi. Both of them suffered on account of the loss of the tickets. They were blinking what could be done, if the tickets were not found. At last a co-passenger with them found the two tickets lying on the last row of the bus. She started prayaing Bhaghavan to find them out the tickets.
In another occasion, she had a severe cold and she started sneezing but forgot to bring her kerchief. This took, when many of the devotees were waiting for Swamy's discourse. A lady who walked through them dropped a new kerchief near to her along with other papers. She refused to take back the kerchief but had removed all other items that fell on the lecture hall. By the time, the author Anuradha Sekar was at the pinnacle of the severe cold. She was searching a kerchief, so that she could sneeze in the hall without disturbing others. She took the kerchief fell on the ground untouched by anyone assembled in the hall. Suddenly, she felt that it was Baba who alone provided those kerchief for her use. At the same time the writer felt that there was a sudden recovery from her cold.
During the night of one day, after she finished her official duties, she was alone near Kathipara, a lonely bus stop. Anuradha Sekar says that the time she had left from her office was almost dark. Suddenly, she felt the loneliness. She prayed Bhaghavan about His presence with her in another ten minutes. Suddenly, a car which took reverse in the mid-nght brought out the music of Om Jaga Jaga Deesagare. "Immediately, I felt that the presence of Bhaghavan with her always". Leaving the fear, she went to her house on that day.

Timings - August
A group of seven or eight devotees of Sathya Sai Baba provide food daily to nearly 22 physically-challenged beggars . Vasu, who supplies food every day to these beggars, said they were inspired by Krishnappa , who used to work in a cooperative. One day, when discussing the issue of beggars, Krishnappa said that instead of talking one should find ways to help them. But it should not encourage the ablebodied among them to stop earning their bread.
Vasu said the beggars look up to them as God in human form. "But we feel they are God, because Swamy (Sathya Sai Baba) has preached that 'Daridra devo Bhava' (the poor are God). Since eight years, we are doing this service and no housewife has complained," he adds with pride.

July 13th 1:30 pm - Miracles of Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba in a Leading Tamil Monthly Magazine
Venue - Chennai
Timings - July
The leading Tamil monthly magazine, Mangayar Malar, published from Chennai has started to write the life history and miracles of Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba from this month July issue. The renowned writer Anuradha Sekar is writing the series in the magazine which takes the readers in a dramatic way of narrating her experience with Bhghavan. Immediately, after Anuradha Sekar joining the magazine as a Reporter, her first assignment was that of to cover the Bhaghavan's Birthday which took place in Puttaparthi. Though the author earlier had visited on several occasions to the then Journaist Saavi's house and had seen Sri Sathya Sai being worshipped by him, Anuradha Sekar did not pay heed much to it. Whenever Saavi asked her whether she had seen Baba she showed her disinterestedness with Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Even when she visited the late Carnatic musician M.S.Subbulakshmi's house, she did not miss to witness that the great singer was performing poojas to Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. However, her mind did not attract towards Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. On a particular day in Anuradha Sekar's life a close friend invited her to Puttaparthi to have darshan of Bhaghavan. Anuradha Sekar was like a Tom
Sawyer on a Sunday holiday white-washing the fence when other children enjoying the holiday. Anuradha Sekar gave her nod to her friend's family that she was prepared to visit Puttaparthi with them, if not for worship atleast for a jolly tour with them, spending her day in the Holy Place.
This is what has been written by the author in the July month current issue. The magazine has also appealed to its readers who are also devotees to send some more miracles of Bhaghavan with nice pictures of Bhaghavan if anything available for publication in the coming months.
The magazine belonged to the Kalki Group of Publications has pasted banners all over the Chennai City about the Miracles of Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba being carried by the Mangyar Malar magazine from this month onwards.

June 17th 11:30 am - About sai ganga project in all the news papers in tamil nadu
Venue - Chennai
Timings - June
News papers of Tamil, Telugu or English came out with the news of Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Sai-Ganga project on last Thursday.
He said the water is brought to the Tamil Nadu from Kandaleru anicut to Poondi lake considered to be one of the most important water reservoir for the people of Chennai. He said the up gradation of the Kandaleru-Poondi canal was being carried out at a cost of Rs.50 crores fully provided by the Sri Sathya Sai Trust. Stretches and pucca walls had been laid out by the Trust between Kandaleru to Poondi and from Poondi to zero point of the Chennai Metropolitan area, thus covering a total distance of 177.97 Kilo meter.
According to Elangovan, the Poondi lake starting from the zero point to Poondy reservoir was in a dilapidated condition with a lot of sands and muds covering on both the sides of the walls of the canal carrying water to the Chennai city. Since, the condition of the lake was in a worst condition and when the water was released, the entire water was not reaching the Chennai city people, for the water was eaten away by the sands and the muds. When the very same problem was faced by the Andhra Pradesh, the Sathya Sai Trust intervened and set right the things properly, it is said. Hence, the Tamil Nadu government had appealed recently to carry out the work by the Sathya Sai Trust to make it possible to receive the water to the Chennai city. The Sathya Sai Trust immediately took out the work and started to upgrade the conditions since May last year. The Trust had allocated a sum of Rs.50 crores for the project.
He also revealed that Sri Sathya Sai Trust had undertaken the work of cleaning up the two lakes in Chennai city. He said the Porur lake and Madhavaram Rettai Eri would be undertaken by them, however, this could be possible only when the two lakes became dry.

March 25 9:30 am - Narayana Resides In His Glory Of Song
Venue - Chennai
Timings - March 13th
On March 13th Tamil Daily, Dinamalar carried a news item about our beloved Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The quotation was taken from our Swamy’s lecture. The verbatim translation of the Tamil is translated into English taken from the news paper and is sent for publication.
OUR BELOVED SRI SATHYA SAI BABA SAYS THE FOLLOWING THING.
“It is better to sing always Bhajan Songs in temples than organizing music programmes. Instead of delving into the music it is always better to delve into the Almighty while singing Bhajan songs. The devotional songs should come out from the heart and not from the lips alone. The God will enjoy the devotional songs if those songs are sung with purity of mind attached to the Almighty. The God will enjoy such type of songs. Once when the Sage Narada asked Lord Narayana that where He could be found on earth. The Lord Narayana replied Narada that it was an easy thing to find His whereabouts. The Lord Naryana added that He could be found wherever His glory is sung with pristine pure of mind, devotion and His devotees minds are fully gravitated towards Him.
The Shastra says that the God has different forms and names. People generally call Him with different names of their own likings like Rama, Krishna, Siva etc., One should cultivate the habit of calling the Almighty often with different names. Once they start chanting the names of the Lord, it will become a customary habit and would start to flow automatically even without their own knowledge. Later, the practice would prove that ‘God alone is True’.

It was Wee's search for some purpose in life that pushed him in 1980 toward philanthropy. At an age when he was doing a lot of "meaningless pub crawling," he was jolted by a book that a friend gave him, Man of Miracles by Howard Murphet. It chronicles the experiences of Sai Baba, an Indian guru . Feeling inspired, Wee plunged into charity work, visiting homes to reach out to Singapore's aged, sick and delinquent. In 1987 he founded Sunlove, a home for psychiatric patients who suffer from conditions such as schizophrenia. Some 400 people now live there.
Wee has taken on other causes, too. He distributed food and computers to children in Sri Lanka after it was hit by the tsunami in 2004 and has donated hearing aids to schoolchildren in China. "It's the multiplier effect that I'm looking for," he says. "Not just in terms of money but in the spiritual sense--to generate more graciousness." Quoting Mother Teresa, he says he derives joy in being a "doer of small things."

Servicing to the humanity as a whole to economically depressed and weaker sections is tantamount doing service for Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
T.E.Vasudevan, an ardent devotee of Bhaghavan earlier gave lectures on the leelas of Bhaghvan in his younger days. During his lecture, he had pointed out that Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was born in a poor family. In order to prove that He is an Avatar he materializes lingam from his body, Vasudevan said. During his lecture he recalled Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s sayings that in India alone various Avtars of God taking place, because in India alone one could do services.
Mr Vasudevan in his lecture underlined that Swamy at his younger days liked to have the holy ashes on his forehead. He loved to have it always. That’s was the reason why Sai Baba materializes the vibhuthi from his hands and distributes them, Vasudevan said. Similarly, Bhaghvan liked a big kumkum tilak to appear on His mother Easwaramma’s forehead. He himself, created the kumkum and made a big tilakam on Easwarama’s head, Vasu Devan said.
